Morne manages a team of Hytera Engineers helping customers achieve their communication goals. Morne has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Stellenbosch, and has over 25 years of experience in communication systems engineering.
Morne has designed and deployed complex radio networks and is an expert in complex DMR radio trunking systems, IP and Wi-Fi networks, and Push-to-Talk over Cellular cloud-based platforms.
Morne has worked with technologies and protocols ranging from Maritime AIS, MPT, DMR Tier II, Tier III, and TETRA. He has written industry standards as part of technical working groups for RTCM, IEC and IALA. He has also delivered several webinars on radio communications and published several technical training videos on radio trunking systems.
