Ultra-Compact Push-to-Talk Over Cellular Radio

The PNC360S is an ultra-compact, rugged, and easy-to-operate push-to-talk radio that enables connectivity over 4G/LTE and Wi-Fi for wide-area radio communications. It is cost-effective, and surprisingly feature rich for the price. The compact size enables one-hand operation, and the PNC360 can be carried in pocket, worn on the standard belt clip, or worn on a lanyard. The PNC360S PoC radio is supported on Hytera Dispatch and can be deployed very quickly to deliver these features at a lower cost than traditional radio systems.

The PNC360S enables Push-to-Talk over Cellular communications using existing 4G/5G/LTE Mobile Network Operator infrastructure and Wi-Fi networks. The PNC360S is supported on the HORIZON and Hytera HALO Nationwide PoC subscription platforms, and on the HORIZON Dispatch and Hytera HALO Dispatch web-based group communications and fleet tracking applications.

Functions

FLEXIBLE GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL CALLING

Enables instant half-duplex group calling (one caller speaks at a time) or full duplex individual calling (both callers speak at any time). Supports cross-enterprise group calls to any other company with HORIZON PoC service. Zones can be used to organize multiple call groups through the screen interface.

HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO

Provides industry-leading digital audio performance with AI-Based digital noise cancellation and high-volume speakers for excellent voice quality in loud environments. Adjustable microphone gain sensitivity feature allows users to adjust the radio settings so that they don’t have to speak directly into the microphone, for example, when the radio is being worn like a remote speaker microphone. Minimum call volume can enabled in the platform for all users to prevent muting audio and missing calls.

EMERGENCY AND SAFETY FEATURES

One-touch Emergency button enables emergency calls to dispatcher and sending alarms to other radios. Emergency alerts can be sent to a group of radios with an audible alarm and provides user ID to all receiving radios. Safety Alert function sends pre-recorded voice messages at predefined time intervals to remind remote users to check in or that a regular task is due.

NATIONWIDE COVERAGE

Nationwide workforce communication with mobile 4G/LTE connectivity supported by the Nano-SIM. Optional multi-carrier SIM supports three mobile carriers and switches over when a carrier’s signal is no longer present.

BUILT-IN WI-FI

Built-in Wi-Fi supports in-building communications with seamless switching to LTE networks when outside Wi-Fi range.

GPS POSITIONING

Enables real-time location tracking with the HORIZON Dispatch application.

BUILT-IN BLUETOOTH

Built-in Bluetooth enables connectivity to earpieces, Push-to-Talk rings, and other wireless accessories.

TFT LCD DISPLAY

The durable, scratch-resistant glass (not plastic) TFT LCD display provides high-resolution visibility even in bright daylight. Supports an easy-to-use GUI menu system with clean and simple navigation.
