(LAS VEGAS, March 6, 2019) - Hytera, a leading global provider of innovative Land Mobile Radio communications solutions, is officially unveiling its latest versatile DMR series products at the International Wireless Communications Expo. With nearly a decade of excellence in the DMR market, Hytera is introducing its next generation DMR radios to deliver up-to-date, advanced communication technologies for professional users.
Hytera's next generation DMR series features a brand-new platform and redefines the User Interface (UI) of DMR radios. The first portal radio of the next generation series contains a 2.4-inch, colorful LCD screen display, which complements the new UI and further optimizes the user experience. The slimmer and lighter device performs clearly and loudly, even in extreme conditions. The dual microphone noise cancellation technology diminishes ambient noise to deliver clear voice. Hytera's patented water-expelling speaker allows the devices to shed water from the speaker when exposed to constant rain. An optional anti-magnetic speaker is even available for iron dust environments, to ensure clearer voice and longer service life.
The next generation series maintains all the versatile features users expect and pushes functionality of the radios to a new level. The radio provides advanced encryption, built-in Bluetooth, GPS, voice recording, and a new platform all encompassed on resilient DMR portables with industry leading IP68 features. Devices backed by an international standard rating of IP68 are deemed fit enough to withstand dust, dirt and sand, and are resistant to submersion up to a maximum depth of 1.5m underwater for up to thirty minutes.
"At IWCE this year we are bringing the first portable radio of the next generation series," said Morne Stamrood, Sales Engineer Director, Hytera America, Inc. "It is simply the first of its kind in the industry when it comes to functionality, user experience and ruggedness. With all the patented technologies it adopts and the ruggedness testing it has undergone, our next generation of DMR radios are positioned to deliver a higher level of excellence in the market."
As a Category 1 member of the DMR Association, whose foremost goal is ensuring that Digital Mobile Radio is the most widely supported digital radio standard, Hytera continues to establish its product dominance in the DMR sector.
"Hytera is proud to reveal our latest DMR products. The radios are simple to use and efficient for a variety of work scenarios where durable radios are key," said Steve Cragg, VP Sales, Hytera America, Inc. "These next-generation offerings further Hytera's commitment to designing and delivering innovative communications solutions and will serve as productive tools for many professionals."
