(Sao Paulo, Brazil, Jan. 14, 2019) - Hytera, a leading global provider of innovative Professional Mobile Radio (PMR) communications solutions, announces that it has been awarded contracts by the Secretariat of Public Security of the State of Ceará, Brazil to replace its existing statewide mission critical communications network with Hytera’s new generation of TETRA technologies and products. The contracts, including TETRA infrastructures and terminals as well as four-year rental and maintenance service, value around 31 million US dollars.
According to the contract, the new statewide TETRA network will adopt infrastructures from Teltronic, a company of Hytera, and the latest TETRA terminal from Hytera to provide better communications efficiency and experience for the Public Security users such as police, firefighters and other first responders in Ceará State. “This project winning is a team collaboration across Hytera group, and we are seeing the results of technical integration and team synergy since Teltronic became part of Hytera in 2017,” said Paulo Ferrão, Deputy General Manager of Hytera Brazil.
